Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)

The CAT will provide you with a good foundation in accounting and finance.  The certification requires you to complete a combination of ten (10) exams and one year practical experience gained before or after the exams.

If you wish to pursue your career further, successful completion of the CAT exam will exempt you from the first three papers of the ACCA qualification.

Paper exams are administered twice per year June & December of each year. The exam closing dates are April 15th for the June exam and October 15th for the December exam.

Accounting Principles I

This course will introduce you to accounting fundamentals. At the end of the course, it is anticipated that you will have a complete understanding of basic Accounting principles and concepts which includes Generally Accepted Accounting Principals, Accounting Cycles, the recording process, Cash, Accounts Receivable, Plant Assets, Liabilities and Inventory

Accounting Principles II

This course enhances the skills acquired from Accounting Principles I. You will be introduced to accounting for various forms of businesses, Managerial and Cost Accounting and Budgeting Planning.

Introduction to Business

This course is for potential entrepreneurs. This course would assist you in identifying a potentially good business idea or develop one you may already have. The course includes guidelines on how to get started, how to operate a small business and how to grow your business.
